Nellie B. Albert, 91, of Cranberry Township died Friday morning at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born in Pittsburgh on Dec. 17, 1922, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Easa Bartiromo.

Nellie had worked for the State of Pennsylvania and Dixmont Hospital in the personnel department and the youth development center.

She was an avid reader and a fabulous cook.

Surviving are two daughters, Barbara Albert of Cranberry Township and Rhoda Ludin of Pittsburgh; two sons, John Albert II and his wife, Eileen, of Adams Township and George Albert of Cranberry Township; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Albert, who she married on July 4, 1943, and who died on March 4, 2000; one sister, Joan Ranick; and one brother, Anthony Bartiromo.

ALBERT — Friends of Nellie B. Albert, who died Friday, April 18, 2014, will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, on Tuesday from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Services will follow at 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev.
