Somedays it’s hard to get along . . .

You know I’m trying to be strong

I miss your laugh the sound so dear

The way you joked, your constant cheer

If I could have just one more day

I beg you darling, please, please stay

I’d wish you back but not in pain

I’d wish the rainbow not the rain

One day I know we’ll meet again

But it’s so hard to wait ‘til then.
