Joan F. Bobby, 79, of Butler passed away Monday at Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.

Born May 22, 1934, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Sophia (Sawron) Hilovsky.

She was a homemaker.

Joan enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed cooking, baking and playing bingo, and she had a love for animals.

Surviving are her loving son, Norman Bobby, and his wife, Tammi, of Butler; her daughter, Paula Weaver and her husband, William, of Athens, Ala.; her grandson, Ryan Bobby of Arlington, Va.; her granddaughter, Sarah Bobby of Butler; her sister, Sonia Kowal of Butler; her brother, Frank Hilovsky Jr. of Butler, and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Bobby, and her sister, Lillian Pastin.
