Paulette A. LaDoux

Paulette A. LaDoux, 64, of Zelienople passed away Wednesday morning in Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born on Sept. 15, 1949, in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late George LaDoux and Rosalind Roman LaDoux Kaufmann.

She was a Catholic.

Paulette received her undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky and her Ph.D. from St. John's University.

She retired from Slippery Rock University as an associate professor of counseling and educational psychology, where she was very devoted to her students.

Paulette was an animal advocate.

She was preceded in death by her husband, newsman Frank S. Tomasello, who worked for radio, TV and newspapers in Pittsburgh. They married on May 28, 1994, and he passed away on June 27, 1997.

She was also preceded in death by her sister, Linda Kelly.

She is survived by her many friends; her brother, Mark LaDoux of Denville, N.J., and her nephew, Joseph Mark Fitzpatrick.

LaDoux — A graveside service for Paulette A. LaDoux, who passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2014, was Friday with burial in Christ the Redeemer Cemetery in West View.If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053.The A.
