Victor R. Ferrere

Victor R. Ferrere, 73, of Boyers passed away Sunday at his daughter's home in Clifton, Colo.

Vic was born in Boyers on the family dairy farm on Jan. 8, 1941, to the late Rene P. and Lois B. (Stewart) Ferrere.

He was a 1958 graduate of Moniteau High School and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

He was a member of the Epiphany Catholic Church in Boyers and the Boyers Sportsman's Association. When he was able, Vic enjoyed looking for arrowheads, hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his three daughters, Bridget (Tom) Warren of Lowell, Ohio, Shayne (Dave) Baker of Moon Township and Michele (Jeremy) Townsend of Clifton, Colo.; and his two sons, Todd (Sheri) Ferrere of West Sunbury and Scot Baker of Erie. He also is survived by his seven granddaughters; his four grandsons; his great-grandson; his numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and his beloved dog, Luc.

In addition to his parents, Vic was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Tina Marie; his sister, Gloria Daubenspeck; and his brother, Chuck Ferrere.

Ferrere — Visitation for the family and friends of Victor R. Ferrere, who passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014, will be at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Epiphany Catholic Church in Boyers with the Father James Bedillion of the St. Alphonsus Parish officiating.
