Joseph P. Kroner

Joseph P. Kroner, 74, of Cranberry Township passed away Monday at UPMC Passavant in McCandless Township.

Born March 4, 1940, in Bellevue, he was the son of the late John and Katherine Bell Kroner.

Joe was a member of St. Ferdinand Catholic Church in Cranberry Township.

He retired from Consolidated Communications in 2002. He had previously been an agent for the Prudential Insurance Co.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

He enjoyed mowing his grass and landscaping his yard.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Fehl Kroner, who he married Oct. 16, 1956, his two sons, Jeffrey (Amy) Kroner of Connoquenessing and Lewis (Christine) Kroner of New Castle; his brother, William Kroner of Cranberry Township; his sister, Marcelline Kroner of Georgia, and his six grandchildren, Zachary, Lauren, Robert, Andrew, Emma and Rachel.
