Donald A. Wikert Sr., 61, of Sarver passed away Wednesday at his home.

Born on Sept. 14, 1952, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Albert Wikert and Joan (McCoy) Lackey.

He worked as an excavator for Brandt Paving and Excavation. He was a member of the Freemasons and the Mars VFW. Don enjoyed riding his motorcycle and watching John Wayne movies.

Surviving are his loving children, Donald A. (Beverly) Wikert Jr. of Mars, Daniel Wikert of Sarver, Taryn (Jason) Schmid of Monongahela and Tianna Wikert of Saxonburg; his mother, Joan Lackey of Mars; his sister, Doris Beesinger of Mars; his seven grandchildren; and his former spouse, Patricia Wikert of Saxonburg.

He was preceded in death by his father and his son, Douglas Alan Wikert.
