Symphony reports next season's lineup

The Butler County Symphony Orchestra has announced its 2014-15 season. It will include:

“España,” Oct. 4, with guitarist Nicholas Goluses.

“The Magical Music of Disney,” Nov. 1.

“Holiday Traditions,” Dec. 6 at Butler Intermediate High School, and Dec. 7 at Mars High School, with guest Michele Ragusa, singer and actress.

“Rachmaninoff’s Second Symphony,” Feb. 7, 2015, with violinist Andrew Sords.

“Broadway Bound,” March 7, 2015, with guests Gary Mauer and Elizabeth Southard.

Celebrate Butler County, April 11, 2015, with pianist Nanette Solomon, the Slippery Rock University Concert Choir and the Collegiate Young Artist competition winner.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $5 for students. An entire season can be purchased at a discounted rate of $100.

Current season ticket holders can renew their seats until June 2.

Individual concert tickets and new season subscriptions will be available June 2.

The symphony office at 259 S. Main St., is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
