Josephine I. Croyle

Josephine I. Croyle, 87, of Cabot, formerly of Ford City, passed away Tuesday at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Cabot.

Born on Dec. 14, 1926, in Ford City, she was the daughter of Jacob Kubatko and Teresa Bartek Kubatko.

She married Ray U. Croyle on May 21, 1949.

She formerly worked at Schenley Distillery, and she was a member of the Holy Trinity Church in Ford City.

Irene loved bowling, riding bikes and walking with the neighbor ladies. She was a volunteer at the Holy Trinity School and ACMH Hospital.

She is survived by her husband; her sons, Charles (Denise) Croyle of Oakmont and James (Kathryn) Croyle of Two Harbors, Minn.; her daughter, Janet (Mark) Werner of Butler; her six grandchildren; and her five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Paul and Edward Kubatko, and by her sisters, Rose Walbert, Mary Moore, Eleanor Miexelberger and Helen Volek.

Croyle — Visitation for Josephine I. Croyle, who passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2014, is from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Mantini Funeral Home, 701 Sixth Ave., Ford City.A prayer service will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Christ Prince of Peace Parish in Ford City. Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
