William D. Petry III, 74, of Renfrew passed away Wednesday at his home.

Born on Dec. 26, 1939, in Natrona Heights, he was the son of the late Rev. William and Mrs. Helen Petry II.

He had been a truck driver for Petry Trucking.

He is survived by his four daughters, Brenda (Kirk) Swartzlander of Dubois, and Nancy (Rob) DeMoustes, Beverly (Carlos) Garces and Joey (George) Garces, all of Florida; his two sons, William Petry IV of Alabama and Bruce Petry of Florida; his wife, Erma Petry of Florida; his two brothers, James Petry of Evans City and Glenn Petry of Oregon; his companion and caregiver, Sally Smith of Renfrew; his 12 grandchildren; and his five great-grandchildren.
