Albert M. Jacox Jr., 85, passed away Feb. 24 at Asbury Heights in Mount Lebanon.

Born Sept. 16, 1928, in Clarion County, he was the only child of the late Albert M. Jacox Sr. and the late Anna Katherine Dehner.

Al was a U.S. Army Veteran.

Surviving are his two daughters, Kathryn (Sean) Engel of Mount Lebanon and Patricia (Neil) Kinser of Sumerlin, Nev., and his four grandchildren, Sophie and Elena Engel, and Karissa and Branden Kinser. Also surviving are his former wife, Marjorie Gallagher, and his daughter, Cindy Hyatt of Austin, Texas, from a previous marriage.

His son, Stephen Albert, preceded him in death in 1978 at age 11.
