Eileen E. Vogel
Eileen E. Vogel, 75, of Mars passed away Tuesday afternoon at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.
Born in Mars on Feb. 28, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Theodore “Ted” and Ellen Campbell Fuhr.
A homemaker, Eileen was a member of the St. Kilian Church in Mars. She enjoyed interior decorating, gardening, cooking and especially the time she spent with her family.
Eileen was the wife of Jerome R. Vogel, who she married on June 2, 1956; the mother of Pamela Vogel Seitz of Evans City and J.R. Vogel Jr. of Evans City; the grandmother of Natalie Rowan (Jesse Jr.), Todd and Timothy Seitz, Kelcy Lynn Vogel and her adopted grandson, Steven Spare; the great-grandmother of Chasen Budner; and the sister of Eleanor Morris (Robert) of Butler, Audrey Collopy (James) of Texas and Theodore Fuhr (Becky) of Valencia. She also is survived by her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Sarah Jean Peaco, Edith Wills and Lila Dunbar, and by her brother, William E. Fuhr.

Vogel, who passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014, will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.A Mass of Christian burial will be at the St. Kilian Church, at the corner of Clark and Cherry streets, Mars, at 11:30 a.m. Saturday with the Rev.
