Thelma C. 'Aunt Chris' (Baird) Jordan
Thelma C. “Aunt Chris” (Baird) Jordan, 87, of Cranberry Township passed away Monday at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.
Born on Feb. 21, 1927, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late William E. and Thelma (Lochner) Baird.
Thelma loved playing slot machines with her family and friends. After many years of dedicated service, she retired from the Seneca Valley School District, where she was employed as an administrative secretary. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her four loving children, Robert D. Jordan and his wife, MaryAnn Sinwell, Geraldine R. (Jordan) Liersaph, Ronald A. Jordan and his wife, Debra Lu, and Nancy C. Erwin and her husband, Gary; her brother, William “Bud” Baird and his wife, June; her seven grandchildren; her six great-grandchildren; and her numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Thelma was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Arthur E. Jordan, and her six siblings, Charles, Robert, Richard, Walter and Kenneth Baird and Geraldine Gordon.
Jordan— The Jordan family will welcome friends of Thelma C. “Aunt Chris” (Baird) Jordan, who passed away Monday, March 10, 2014, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township.A funeral ceremony will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev.
