SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University pole vaulter Julia Cain has been named PSAC Female Field Athlete of the Week for the second straight week.

Cain improved on her conference-best mark in the pole vault by posting a vault of 12 feet, 8 inches at the Dave Labor Invitational. The mark ranks fourth among all of NCAA Division II athletes this season.

Slippery Rock University senior shortstop Will Kengor has been named as the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Atlantic Region player of the week.Kengor batted .571 (16 of 28) with three doubles, a triple and 15 RBIs in eight games last week.
