Charles “Charlie” Edward Craig Jr., 59, of Slippery Rock passed away Tuesday at his home.

He was the son of the late Charles Edward Craig Sr. and Dorothy Sarah Shankle Craig.

He married Chelsy Dobson on Dec. 10, 1999, and she preceded him in death on Sept. 28, 2012.

Charlie was the property manager for Rodgers Realty in Slippery Rock and had worked in his family business, E & E Sanitation.

Charlie graduated from East Brady High School in 1972. He loved spending time with his family and his dog, Shade.

Survivors include his son, Charles “Ed” Edward Craig III and his fiancée, Tracy, of Slippery Rock; his stepson, Joshua Hile of Slippery Rock, and his two step-grandchildren, Kenzie and Allie Hiles.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

Craig — Services will be private for Charles “Charlie” Edward Craig Jr., who passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2014. There will be no public visitation.Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock.
