The Fine Arts Center Gallery presents the “Scribes of Hope” exhibition through Saturday in the Pew Fine Arts Center.The exhibit features 31 works across a range of approaches including traditional lettering and illumination, artist books and letterpress work showcasing fresh directions in calligraphic design, as well as letters created by hand. Admission is free. Gallery hours are noon to 4 p.m. today and Friday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
