Verda Mae Connor
Verda Mae Connor, 79, of Butler passed away Sunday at VNA Inpatient Hospice.
She was born on Nov. 21, 1934, in Butler, the daughter of the late Harry Wilmer and Mary (Sanderson) Hankey.
Verda was a member of the St. John's Roman Catholic Church in Coylesville. She loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband of 59 years, Peter E. Connor of Butler; her two daughters, Valerie Jean Connor Johnston and her husband, Tom, of California and Debra Christy of Butler; her two sons, Peter E. Connor Jr. and his wife, Judy, of Butler and Michael J. Connor and his companion, Rhonda Shaffer, of Apollo, and her seven grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by her two grandchildren, Josh and Carrie Connor; her sister, and her four brothers.

Jefferson St., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 7 and 9 p.m. Tuesday.A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. at the St. John's Roman Catholic Church, 668 Clearfield Road, Fenelton.
