Robert B. 'Bud' Blystone

Robert Blystone

Robert B. “Bud” Blystone, 82, of Pine Township, Gibsonia, died Sunday morning at Paramount Senior Living in Adams Township.

Born in Kiskeminikus Township, Armstrong County, on Nov. 2, 1931, he was the son of the late Homer and Frances George Blystone.

Bud worked for 27 years for Pine Township in the road maintenance department.

He served in the U.S. Army during peace time.

Surviving are his wife, Colleen Bonin Blystone, who he married on June 22, 1957; his sons, Robert C. Blystone and his wife, Kellie, of Cranberry Township, and Timothy M. Blystone of New Brighton; his three grandchildren, Robert C. Jr., Megan and Zachery; his two brothers, Homer Blystone and his wife, Beverly, of Venus, Pa., and Richard Blystone of Valencia; his sister, Harriet Hague and her husband, Lou, of Portersville; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, James and Raymond Blystone, and his sisters, Helen Stewart, Dorothy Reichhold, Anna Hanna, June Fitton and Virginia Patton.

Blystone — The friends of Robert B. “Bud” Blystone, who died Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014, will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. The services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Indiana Township, Pa.Directions and condolences are available at www.mcdonald-aeberli.com.
