T. Dale Caldwell

T. Dale Caldwell, 72, of Callery passed peacefully Thursday morning surrounded by his loving family at UPMC Passavant.

Born on Sept. 23, 1941, in Russellton, he was the son of the late Frank and Ruth Stepp Caldwell.

He was a Protestant.

He had worked for Warrendale Plating in Mars. He then began working for Paul's Chrome in Evans City as a buffer, retiring from there with 30 years of service.

Dale enjoyed hunting and camping and being with his family.

He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Caldwell Jr.; his two brothers; his two sisters; his mother-in-law; and a nephew.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy “Dotty” Luna Caldwell; his three daughters, Donna (Milton) of Callery, Christina (Tim) Coroian of West Deer and Susan Wills and her partner, Karen, of Allison Park; his sister, Tilda Mahoney of Mars; his brother, Floyd Caldwell of Evans City; his five grandchildren, Nikki, Thomas, Daniel, Ashley and Stephanie; his two great-grandchildren, Victoria and Abigail; and his nieces and nephews.

Caldwell — The family of T. Dale Caldwell, who died Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014, will welcome friends from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 328 W. Main St., Evans City. The funeral services will follow at 8 p.m.
