Tracy Anderson

Tracy A. Anderson, 59, of Gibsonia died suddenly Thursday evening.

Born on June 2, 1954, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Robert A. (Jane) Anderson of Gibsonia and the late Margaret (Haberlein) Anderson.

He was the beloved husband for 32 years of Peggy A. (O'Connell) Anderson; the loving father of Jarrod A. Anderson of Bentonville, Ark., and Mitchell G. Anderson of Toledo, Ohio; the brother of Jon Anderson of Gibsonia, Lisa (Greg) Norris of Gibsonia and Dana Anderson of Florida; the stepbrother of Keith (Sue) Rossman, Jill (Gary) Lohfert, Lynn (Ray) Rossman and Todd (Debbie) Rossman; the son-in-law of Sue (late Jack) O'Connell; the brother-in-law of Pat (Mimi), Molly (late Charles), Liz, and Marie O'Connell. He also is survived by many nieces, nephews and countless dear friends.

A strong Christian who loved the Lord, his family, and many friends, Tracy above all things loved spending time with people, whether at home, socially, or through work. He spoke every day with many close friends and family and never missed a day without talking to each of his two sons of whom he was tremendously proud.

He was a graduate of Richland High School and Thiel College where he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity.

He was the longtime owner of the Anderson Asphalt Co. in Gibsonia.

ANDERSON — The family and friends of Tracy A. Anderson, who died suddenly Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, are invited to a memorial service at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the North Way Christian Community, 12121 Perry Highway, Wexford, PA 15090, where a reception will follow the services. The Rev. Jay Passavant and the Rev. Donn Ed will co-officiate.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Anderson's family friend's international mission work, “Campus Crusade for Christ, www.cru.org, Gerald and Christine Mantlo #0429149.”The arrangements are by theSchellhaas Funeral Home, Bakerstown.Please offer condolences at www.schellhaasfh.com.
