Aaron Loy Cook, 28, of Harrisville passed away Wednesday in Slippery Rock.

He was born in Grove City on May 30, 1985, to Leonard Melvin Cook and Celeste Marie Dellich Cook.

He married Patricia Marie Krantz on Oct. 10, 2009.

He had previously worked at Bob's Towing, now called Pryes Towing, until his disability due to multiple sclerosis in 2009.

He was a member of the American Legion Post 852 of Harrisville and the Richard E. Craft Post 584 American Legion of Springfield Township. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and his dog, Princess. He also enjoyed music and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia “Trish” Cook of Harrisville; his sister, Crystal M. Cook of Harrisville; and his grandfather, John Loy Dellich of Slippery Rock.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandmother, Jane Dellich.

COOK — Friends of Aaron Loy Cook, who died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, will be received at the Smith Funeral Home, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Thomas Gomola, pastor of the Leesburg Presbyterian Church, presiding. Interment will be in Slippery Rock Cemetery.
