Beverly Sutch

Beverly J. Sutch, 83, of Zelienople passed away Thursday at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford.

Born on Feb. 4, 1931, in Harmony, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Ethel (Buchanan) Steffler.

Beverly was a member of SilverSneakers, where she earned several awards. She was also active in the Harmonettes Drum and Bugle Corps. An avid walker, Beverly was proud of the plaque she received for being the oldest grandmother to walk a 3K race. She enjoyed line dancing, volunteering at the library and flower gardening. Above all, she was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother who will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her beloved husband of 59 years, Donald C. Sutch, who she married on April 23, 1955; her son, Jay (Lisa) Sutch of Portersville; her sister, Patricia Agnew of Mich.; her sister-in-law, Carol Steffler of Evans City; and her two grandsons, Alex and Eric Sutch.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Donald A. Sutch, who passed away on Nov. 28, 2012; her two brothers, Chester and Robert Steffler; her brother-in-law, Bud Agnew; and her sister-in-law, Martha Steffler.

SUTCH — The family of Beverly J. Sutch, who passed away Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, will welcome friends from 1 p.m. until the time of a funeral ceremony at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, with the Rev. Gail R. Davis, officiating.She will be laid to rest at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery in Zelienople.If desired, memorial contributions may be made in her honor in support of a charity of the donor's choice.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with Beverly's family at www.boylanfuneralhome.com.
