CLEARWATER, Fla. —The Slippery Rock University baseball team struck for seven runs in the top of the ninth inning to rally for an 8-3 win over Ohio Valley University at Jack Russell Memorial Stadium Thursday afternoon.

Alex Bell and Will Kengor each had three hits in the win as SRU.

Kyle Vozar and Jordan Faretta each added two hits for The Rock (6-4).

Bell and Faretta each had two-run singles as part of the ninth-inning rally.

The Rock was scheduled to play Iowa University this morning at 10 and Kentucky Wesleyan College this afternoon at 2.
