Izak Nelson

Izak Robert Nelson, 5 days, of Cabot passed away Tuesday at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.

Born on Feb. 6, 2014, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Shawn and Sara (Allenberg) Nelson.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his two brothers, Dominic Nelson and Noah Nelson, both of Cabot; his paternal grandmother, Jennifer Nelson of Middlesex Township; his maternal grandmother, Tammy Allenberg of Sarver; his maternal grandfather, Jay Montgomery of Freeport, and his maternal stepgrandfather, Mike Lazaro. Also surviving are his paternal great-grandmother, Carol Land of Middlesex Township; his paternal great-grandparents, Shirley (Robert) Nelson of Natrona; his aunt, Angella Yeager of Reserve Township; his uncle, Robert Yeager of Reserve Township; his uncle, Brian Knox of New Kensington, and his aunt, Jenn Montgomery of Natrona Heights.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Gary Nelson, and his maternal great grandfather, William Allenberg.

NELSON — The friends of Izak Robert Nelson, who passed away Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.The services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ward Stakem, OFM Cap., officiating. Interment will follow in Mt.
