Jennings Environmental Education Center, Route 528, Brady Township, will host a program on how sap taken from a maple tree becomes syrup at 2 p.m. March 23. This annual program is free and registration is not necessary, but attendees should arrive on time to get a seat. The program begins with an indoor presentation followed by a guided, outdoor walk. Call 724-794-6011. Jennings is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and on weekends as scheduled. The trails are open daily from sunrise to sunset.
