“The Fantasticks” presented by the Nebraska Theatre Caravan will be the next offering in the Performing Arts Series. “The Fantasticks” is a romantic comedy about a boy, a girl, their meddling fathers, and the wall that divides them. Classic numbers include “Try to Remember” and “Soon It's Gonna Rain.”

• The Fine Arts Center Gallery presents the “Scribes of Hope” exhibition through March 29 in the Pew Fine Arts Center.The exhibit features 31 works across a wide range of approaches including traditional lettering and illumination, artist books and letterpress work showcasing fresh directions in calligraphic design, as well as letters created by hand.Admission is free.
