Paul Joseph Steigerwald Jr., 51, of Butler, formerly of Cranberry Township passed away Friday in the comfort of his home.

Born on April 17, 1962, in Butler, he was the son of the late Paul Joseph Steigerwald Sr. and Ruth Lois (McConnell) Steigerwald.

Paul had a profound faith in God and loved making people happy. He was a servant by nature and found pleasure in helping others. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved animals of all kinds.

Among his many hobbies, Paul especially enjoyed riding motorcycles and bicycles, bowling, gardening, fishing and building model airplanes, cars and trains. Above all he was a loving brother and uncle who will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his brother, Randy McMillen and his companion, Jill, of Evans City; his sister, Oretha Rodgers and her husband, Joseph, of Jackson Center; his two nieces, Rebecca Rodgers of Columbus, Ind., and Rachel Goglia of Perkasie, and his nephew, Richard Rodgers of Jackson Center.

STEIGERWALD — A funeral ceremony for Paul Joseph Steigerwald Jr., who passed away Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Paul will be laid to rest at the Evans City Cemetery.Paul's family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in his honor to Lighthouse, Loaves and Fishes Food Cupboard, C/O Summit United Presbyterian Church, 1302 E.
