YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — The Butler YMCA swim team won the Pennsylvania YMCA West District Championship at Youngstown State University, besting more than 30 teams.

David Bocci won three events in the 10-and-under age group and also broke Eric Namesnik's 100 individual medley record.

SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University assistant women's soccer coach Casey Derkacz has resigned to take the assistant coaching job for the University of Buffalo women's soccer team.Derkacz spent the last two seasons at SRU.Derkacz is a 2011 graduate of Buffalo and was a standout on the men's soccer team for the Division I Bulls.
