SRU wins lacrosse opener, 21-3
Morgan Pettit tallied seven goals and two assists to lead the Slippery Rock University women’s lacrosse team to a season-opening 21-3 victory over visiting West Virginia Wesleyan on Wednesday.
The Rock, which led 11-1 at halftime, also received four goals from Kaytlin Callaghan and Erin Wilcox.
Hannah Houde made six saves in the win.
