Margaret 'Peg' Badger

Margaret “Peg” Badger, 79, of Portersville died Saturday at Grove City Medical Center after an illness.

She was born in Connoquenessing on Aug. 15, 1934, and was the daughter of Thomas and Melissa Frishkorn Stevick.

She had worked as a geriatric nursing assistant for 35 years at various places.

She was a member of the Portersville Bible Church.

Survivors include her two daughters, Mrs. Pamela (William) Barr of Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. Deanne (Patrick) van der Ham of Rockville, Md.; her two sons, J. Jeffrey Badger of San Francisco, Calif., and Eric Edwin Badger of Portersville; her brother, Glenn Duncan of Grove City; and her three grandchildren and her two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Badger, who she married on April 17, 1954. He died June 12, 2001. She also was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.

Badger — The visitation for Margaret “Peg” Badger, who died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at theJay Bryan Funeral Home, 443 Main St., Prospect.The funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Portersville Bible Church, with the Rev. Michael Charles officiating. Burial will be in the Presbyterian Church of Portersville Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Portersville Bible Church.
