Leigh Ann Tirk Landsperger, 38, of Columbia, Md., formerly of West Sunbury passed away Tuesday.

She was born on May 10, 1975, in Grove City. She was the daughter of the late Daniel C. Tirk and Mary Lou Wolfe Tirk.

She was a graduate of Moniteau High School, Butler County Community College and Slippery Rock University. She had taught Spanish at the Maryland Public Schools and her church, the Rainbow Family Christian Center.

Leigh Ann is survived by her husband, William Landsperger, who she married in September of 2000, her two daughters, Isabel and Danielle, and her son, Jess, all of Columbia, Md.; Her mother, Mary Lou Tirk; and her sister, Erin Tirk both of West Sunbury, and her brother, Wade W. Tirk of Karns City. Also surviving are her mother-in-law, Kathy Landsperger of Butler, and several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins in the Butler area.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her infant brother.

Landsperger — The friends of Leigh Ann Tirk Landsperger, who passed away Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014, will be received at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury, from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. The funeral services will be at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Horace Drumming, her pastor, officiating.Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery.
