CRANBERRY TWP — Zonta Three Rivers Pittsburgh North, a professional women’s service organization, will have its 11th annual Glass Slipper Ball at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Four Points Sheraton.

The event raises money for scholarships for battered and abused women and girls in crisis.

The Glass Slipper Ball will showcase almost two dozen chefs who will create hors d’oeuvres and desserts while wine purveyors pour samplings.

Participating chefs represent these restaurants: Andora, Atrias, Bella Frutteto, Café Notte, China Palace, Erin’s Fine Foods, Four Points Sheraton, Fresco’s, Generoasta, Giant Eagle Market District, Hotel Saxonburg, John Marshall Catering, KeyImpact, Narcisi Winery and La Vite, Off The Hook, Shakespeare’s, Shannopin Country Club, SweetHouse Bake Shop, Tin Man Sweets, Ugandan Gold Coffee, Walnut Grill, Whole Foods Market Wexford and The Wine Boss.

There also will be auctions and music.

Guests will vote for a winning chef for best hors d’oeuvre, dessert and overall favorite. Celebrity judges will select the Best of the Best with $1,000 going to the winning chef’s favorite charity for women.
