Diana L. Illig

Diana L. Illig, 54, of Ebensburg, Pa., formerly of Butler, died Monday at the Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown, Pa.

She was born on Dec. 9, 1959, in Butler, the daughter of Thomas C. Jr. and Patricia Lee (Tirk) Hackett.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, on Dec. 18, 2007, and her father in 1981.

She is survived by her mother and her brother and sisters, Thomas III, Michelle Lee Warner and Lorri Weifling. Also surviving are her mother-in-law, Mary Stohon; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Mary Zerbee, Linda VanGuilder, Patty Williamson, James, William, Fred, Leonard, Tony and Betty Karroll; her dog, Nel-lie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a 1978 graduate of Knoch High School, Saxonburg, and a member of the Holy Name Parish, Ebensburg, Pa.

ILLIG — The friends of Diana L. Illig, who died Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church St., Gallitzin, Pa., where a vigil service will be Friday.A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Msgr. David Lockard as celebrant. The committal service will be in Butler County Memorial Park.The family suggests donations in Diana's memory to the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society, 1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602.
