Karl D. Thompson
Karl D. Thompson, 26, of Sarver passed away Thursday at UPMC Presbyterian, as the result of an automobile accident.
Born July 14, 1987, in Natrona Heights, he was the son of David K. Thompson and Carol M. Thompson.
He was a 2005 graduate of Lenape Vo-Tech.
Karl had worked on the family farm and also had worked for Jackson Heating. He had formerly worked for Blazczak Salvage.
He was a member of the John E. Mair Lodge 729 F & AM in Mars and was a patrolman for the Syria Shrine.
Surviving are his father, David K. Thompson of Sarver; his uncle, Donald Thompson of Sarver; his aunt, Doris (Richard) Kirkner of Kittanning, and his paternal grandmother, Dorothy Thompson of Sarver.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Carol M. Thompson
THOMPSON — The friends of Karl D. Thompson, who passed away Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.The services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. James H. Ritchie Jr. officiating.
