'Last 5 years'
FRANKLIN — Franklin Civic Operetta Association’s Barrow-Civic Theatre will be the site of evening showings of the contemporary musical “The Last Five Years” Feb. 21, 22 and 28 and March 1.
The show will be directed by Cabot native Becki Toth, a graduate and faculty member of Grove City College.
She is often found directing or performing with Stage 62, in Carnegie, where she recently directed “The Wedding Singer,” “Titanic” and “Urinetown,” and performed as Mrs. Lovett in “Sweeney Todd.”
Serving as accompanist for the show is piano instructor and GCC faculty member, Paula Kubik.
Playing the roles of the two characters in the show will be Jennifer Fox as Cathy and Matthew J. Rush as Jamie, who were last seen on the Barrow main stage in “Les Miserables” last year, as Fantine and Enjolras.
Curtain is at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 21, 22 and 28, and March 1, at the theater at 1223 Liberty St.
