Ruth Pauline (Neubauer) Manol

Ruth Manol

Ruth Pauline (Neubauer) Manol, 86, of Zelienople peacefully entered the kingdom of heaven on Tuesday while surrounded by her loving family at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township following a brief illness.

Born on Feb. 26, 1927, in the Pittsburgh area, she was the daughter of the late Walter F. and Ida E. (Bitzer) Neubauer.

Ruth raised her family in Avalon, Pa., and was a loving wife and devoted mother to her three children. She was a kind, gentle woman whose faith sustained her throughout her life. She was an active member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Harmony.

She was a wonderful seamstress, cook and baker. Ruth won a first prize ribbon at the Butler County Fair for a crocheted doily. She will be remembered as a fun-loving woman with a great sense of humor.

She will be greatly missed by her two devoted daughters, Donna (Donald) McDonough of Avalon and Marsha (Tim) Davis of Portersville; her daughter-in-law, Toni Manol of Leechburg; her seven loving grandchildren; her eight great-grandchildren; her two great-great-grandsons; and many beloved nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, Ruth joined her husband of 59 years, Thomas A. Manol; her brothers, Earl W. and Wallace F. Neubauer; her sister, Ida M. Murcek; her son, Thomas R. Manol, and her infant daughter in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Thank you Mum for providing your family with faith, love, happiness and good times. You will be missed.
