Robert Morris holds off Bryant in NEC showdown game, 79-76
MOON TOWNSHIP — Karvel Anderson’s two free throws with 13 seconds left allowed Robert Morris to escape with a 79-76 win over Bryant and remain perfect in Northeast Conference play Thursday night.
The Colonials (12-10, 7-0) opened up a two-game lead in the conference standings by converting five of six free throw attempts in the final minute.
Corey Maynard’s three-point play for Bryant (13-9, 5-2) with 45 seconds left cut the Robert Morris lead to a point, 75-74, but he missed a 3-pointer to tie with a second left.
