CRANBERRY TWP — The Beaver Butler Counties Heart Ball will be held at 6 p.m. Feb. 15 in the Pittsburgh Marriott North at 100 Cranberry Woods Drive.

The annual black tie affair is the American Heart Association’s top fundraising event in the region.

For every $1 raised, $3 come back in research to the region. There also are 37 research projects in this area, totaling more than $8.5 million.

Money raised from the Heart Ball supports cardiovascular research, professional and public education, school site programs and advocacy efforts.

Heart Ball attendees can vote for their favorite dancer under the theme of, “So They Think They Can Dance.”

This will match doctors with heart survivors in a dance-off. As these dance partners entertain attendees, they will be raising money for the fight against heart disease and stroke.
