Michael M. Schoeffel

Michael M. Schoeffel, 14, of Boyers left this earth to be with the Lord on Dec. 18.

Michael was born Feb. 11, 1999. He was a young man who had a gentle smile and kind words for all he met. Michael was a freshman who attended Moniteau High School. He had a great love for life, his family and the outdoors. Michael enjoyed camping, fishing, hiking, hunting, swimming and any other activity that involved the outdoors.

Michael also loved spending countless days riding in the company of his four brothers and traveling with his father. He was an active member of the Boy Scouts, and he ran cross country at Moniteau. Michael was also creative and loved to work with his hands. He had aspirations of becoming an electrical engineer.

Michael is survived by his parents, Marvin and Cheryl Schoeffel; his four brothers, Kyle, Peyton, Brandon and Lukas; his paternal grandparents, Warren Schoeffel of Butler and Jim and Barbara Tutwiler of Beaver Falls; his great-grandmother, Thelma Schoeffel of Evans City; his maternal grandparents, Donald and Nancy Dahl of Syracuse, N.Y.; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Michael was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Pauline Dahl, of Syracuse, N.Y.

SCHOEFFEL — The funeral arrangements for Michael M. Schoeffel, who passed Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013, were private.Donations can be made to the Michael Schoeffel Memorial Fund at any Citizen's Bank location.
