Alice Joann Hogue
Alice Joann Hogue, 69, of Eau Claire passed away at 7 a.m. Tuesday at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Monroeville, Pa., on June 7, 1944, she was daughter of the late Ernest Clifford and Effie Stone Stansfield.
Joann worked alongside her husband, Fred, farming the Hunter farm and neighboring farms in Cherry Valley most of their adult lives.
She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, and was an avid reader.
Surviving are her husband, Fred Eugene Hogue; her four children, Wendy Grossman and Douglas Hogue at home, Brenda Lauer of Butler, and Fred Hogue Jr. (Patti Hutchison) of Hilliards; her four grandchildren, Justin (Tina) Grossman, Jessica Lauer, Matthew Lauer (Mackenzie Crissman), and Abbi Cochran; her two great-grandchildren, Ava Rossman and Adalyn Rose Cochran; her brother, William Stansfield of Tennessee; her sisters, Shirley Pascuzzi and Nancy Hutson, both of Pittsburgh and Bonnie Atwell of Virginia; a special aunt, Florence Thompson of West Sunbury, with whom she was reared, and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three siblings.
