Ronald Paul Lease, 81, of Prospect passed away Tuesday in the emergency room at UPMC Passavant Cranberry.

Born Aug. 9, 1932, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late J. Paul and Ann Orize Lease.

Ron retired as a chief engineer for Westinghouse Broadcasting.

He was a U.S. Army veteran.

Ron enjoyed making and flying model aircraft and was a member of the Shriners.

He is survived by his two daughters, Rhonda J. Noullet Ankrom and Kimberly (Ronald) Ford, all of Prospect; eight grandchildren; two great-grandsons; his brother, Paul Richard Lease of Palm Bay, Fla.; and his sister, Sharon Menard of Colorado.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia J. Lease, who passed away Feb. 3, 2010; one son, Jeffrey Lease; and one brother.
