Marian A. Ihlenfeld
Marian Anna Ihlenfeld, 97, died Nov. 27 in Zanesville, Ohio.
Born Feb. 27, 1916, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late William A. and Anna (Carey) Wagner.
On Feb. 18, 1938, Marian married Richard Edward Ihlenfeld.
Marian was a housewife and loving mother. She was a member of the Hill United Presbyterian Church, where she sang in the choir in her younger years. She enjoyed playing golf, baking, dancing, and playing bridge.
In 1992, she and her husband relocated to Palm Harbor, Fla. She continued to play golf as well as to bake for church functions at the Church on the Bayou in Tarpon Springs, where she was an affiliate member.
After the death of her husband in 2007, Marian relocated to Zanesville, Ohio.
Surviving are her sons, R. James (Deborah) of Butler, David (Angelita) of Oceanside, Calif., and Michael (Deidra) Ihlenfeld of Zanesville, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one niece and one nephew.
IHLENFELD — A memorial service for Marian Anna Ihlenfeld, who died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013, will be celebrated at the Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St., Butler, at 1 p.m. on Jan. 18, 2014.Arrangements were entrusted to Burrell Funeral Services, Zanesville, Ohio.Memorial donations may be made to the Hill United Presbyterian Church.
