Nose tackle Papley, a Slippery Rock High graduate, had 65 tackles — 25 solo — and 12 tackles for loss as a senior.The USA Football Bowl draws players from the FBS, FCS, Divisions II and III, NAIA, NCCAA and USCAA programs. There will be 66 players on each team.

MEXICO CITY — Jose Sulaiman, the longtime head of the World Boxing Council who promoted renowned fighters and introduced rules to protect boxers, died Thursday. He was 82.Sulaiman's son, Mauricio Sulaiman, said he died at a hospital in Los Angeles.The WBC confirmed his death, calling him the “father of boxing.” Sulaiman was a member of boxing's Hall of Fame since 2006.
