Larry Kline

Larry Lee Kline, 69, of Butler passed away peacefully at 5:04 p.m. Monday in his sleep at his home following a lingering illness.

Larry was born on April 20, 1944, in Butler. He was the son of the late Lloyd B. “Pete” Kline and the late Gladys Reges Kline.

He was a member of the former Oneida Valley Free Methodist Church.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves.

Larry retired from Armco Steel with more than 30 years of service as a crane operator.

He enjoyed his family, the outdoors and long scenic drives.

Larry is survived by his three sons, Kevin Lee (Jessica) Kline, Brian B. Kline and Jason Paul Kline, all of Butler, and two stepgrandsons, Daelin and Grant. Also surviving are his sister, Mrs. Robert (Shirley Ann) McCandless of Renfrew, and his brother, Robert B. (Evelyn) Kline of Butler.

Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Mollie D. Thompson Kline, who passed away on June 24, 2003.

KLINE — The friends of Larry Lee Kline, who passed away Monday, Dec. 9, 2013, will be received at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday. The services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Dennis Krajacic of the Community Alliance Church officiating.Burial will be in the West Sunbury Union Cemetery.If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Community Alliance Church, 800 Mercer Road, Butler, PA 16001.
