Moraine State Park hosts the fourth annual Winterfest from noon to 5 p.m. Jan. 18 near McDanels Launch on the North Shore. Admission is free. Sponsored by the Moraine Preservation Fund, activities will include a chili cook off, music by Amanda Noah, ice carving, carriage rides, a snow shoe workshop, dog sled demonstrations, and a family birding hike.
