PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium says four news cheetahs raised on a South African ranch are to receive medical tests before they go on display later this year.

The zoo's policy is to observe new animals behind the scenes for weeks or months, during which they're screened for any medical conditions.

The zoo plans to display the new cats this spring.
