Residents return home in Indiana County after explosion, fire at fuel storage business
HOMER CITY, Indiana County — Residents are returning to their homes this morning after an explosion at a nearby fuel storage business forced their evacuation earlier today.
Authorities say the fire at Accent Fuels began about 3:30 a.m., and at least a dozen fire companies responded. About a dozen residents were ordered to leave their homes.
The fire is under investigation, and the company says it will be back in business Friday at other locations.
