Cullen Corbett

Cullen Mitchell Corbett, 15, of Karns City went home to be with the Lord at 10:23 p.m. Monday evening at Sugarcreek Rest Home.

Cullen was born on Oct. 5, 1998, in Kittanning. He was the son of Michele Rider Corbett.

Cullen suffered from cach-leukodystrophy, a rare genetic brain disorder.

He is survived by his mother, Michele Corbett of Karns City; his sisters, Julia Katora and Amber Katora of Kittanning; his maternal grandparents, Steve and Kathy Rider of Bruin; his paternal great-grandparents, Dan and Diana Rider of Bruin; his aunts and uncles, Shawn Myers and his wife, Tammy, of Rimersburg, Shayne Myers and his wife, Danielle, of Chicora, Lisa Myers of Bruin, Kristen Rider of Chicora and Steven Rider Jr. and his wife, Briana, of Bruin; as well as a number of cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Luther and Edith Bowser.

CORBETT — The friends of Cullen Mitchell Corbett, who passed away Monday, Nov. 11, 2013, will be received at the Hile Funeral Home of Karns City, 128 Main St., Karns City, from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Don Barger, pastor of the Whitehall Church of God, officiating.
