Ralph J. Thoma

Ralph J. Thoma, 76, of East Butler passed away Monday at Saxony Health Center in Saxonburg.

He was born Oct. 13, 1937, in East Butler, the son of the late Benedict C. Thoma and the late Valeria (Ritzert) Thoma.

Ralph was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.

He was a veteran of the U.S. National Guard.

He retired from Pullman Standard, and was an avid deer hunter and loved collecting autos and toys.

Surviving are his two sisters, Mary Miller and Ruth Hall, both of Butler; his three brothers, Paul Thoma of East Butler, Regis (Gloria) Thoma of Butler and Earl (Pam) Thoma of Slippery Rock; his sister-in-law, Gloria Thoma Miller of Butler, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a his brother, Floyd Thoma.

THOMA — The friends of Ralph J. Thoma, who passed away Monday, Nov. 11, 2013, will be received at Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.The funeral service will be at St. Paul Catholic Church, McKean St. Butler, at 10 a.m. Thursday.
