Concordia Lutheran Ministries will host its first live Nativity scene from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday in front of the Haven II building at 148 Marwood Road, Winfield Township. The event is free. The scene will feature people from throughout the Concordia family, both staff and residents, and live animals. Live Christmas music, hot beverages and refreshments will be provided indoors as well as a gift for the first 200 children age 12 and younger. McConnells Mill State Park in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County, will host “Hemlock Hikes” from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Park in the Kildoo picnic area and meet at the gristmill. Dress for the weather, and take enough food and water. Those who don’t hike are still welcome for the 20 minute information session.
